World Book Night celebrations at Hospice shop

A local hospice is inviting the local community to join their World Book Night celebrations at their bookshop in Carlisle.

On Tuesday 23 April, Eden Valley Hospice’s bookshop will be hosting a full day of promotions, offering people a brilliant way to support the Hospice and celebrate World Book Night. The shop, located in The Lanes shopping centre, stocks a wide range of books which have been generously donated by the local community.

To celebrate World Book Night, which aims to raise the profile of reading, the store will remain open until 6pm and throughout the day Eden Valley Hospice will be offering customers a special 3 for 2 offer on all books. Meanwhile, between 4pm and 6pm the Hospice will be providing all customers with light refreshments to celebrate the evening of reading and a very special prize draw.
